DV Initiative is a start-up that seeks to and continues to leverage existing and rapidly evolving research, technological and educational platforms in partnership with Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisations across the world to create a hub of sensitization, awareness and intervention on DV, its manifestations and its consequences. In a direct response to Covid-19, DV Initiative seeks to begin with adequate research into the types, causes and consequences of the COVID-19 related DV and then create standard awareness packages that will include a structured course, formal and informal campaigns and partnerships with NGOs and Governments to bring adequate interventions.In the immediate, DV Initiative seeks to partner with the Climeact Academy, a learning hub for sustainability to bring DV awareness in a structured and innovative learning format to the public. These awareness content will enlighten the public on the manifestations of DV especially in COVID-19 and also intimate them on the various mechanisms they can take advantage of in the society and in their communities.
