Dominion Hospitality Group ("DHG") was formed in 2018 as a subsidiary of Dominion Diversified Real Estate Group to take advantage of value-add buying opportunities in the hospitality sector over the next 3-5 years. The Officers of Dominion Diversified Real Estate Group have over 30 years of investment experience and have brought together a team of experts in the hospitality industry to self-manage all future acquired properties. The team members have extensive experience in all facets of hotel operations and have worked for large firms and managed hotels with flags such as Sheraton, Hampton Inns, Best Western and many others. Self-management will provide daily access, control measures and decision making to all areas of running our assets which we did not have when third partying out the management functions. The Principals from Dominion are all seasoned real estate professionals and will focus on deal sourcing and structuring, underwriting, and securing equity and debt for DHG. Combined, they have directly owned, developed, sold, leased and managed over 6,000,000 square feet of real estate with values well in excess of $200,000,000. In addition to hospitality experience, the Principals have experience across a broad spectrum of real estate including apartment development, office, retail, industrial, medical office, and residential land development.DHG currently owns the Holiday Inn Express Gastonia (88 rooms), Comfort Suites Savannah North (83 rooms), Comfort Inn Monticello (99 rooms) and is in the process of developing a Microtel (86 rooms) in South Hill, Virginia and a 160 room dual-branded hotel in Richmond, Virginia. The Principals are actively seeking niche opportunities to both acquire and purchase additional assets.
