DOMUS arises from the need to promote and strengthen dialectics, guaranteeing greater access to information and knowledge of everyday themes. Founded in 2018 by students from PUC / MG, DOMUS seeks to connect people through a democratic space and free from ideological restrictions, endorsing the dialogue between its members through debates with logical and argumentative foundations. An improvement in communicative skills is sought through the teaching of techniques and the practical application of these methods. In this way, weekly meetings open to PUC / MG students are held on Saturdays, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Discourse, oratory and argumentation theories are taught to students, and then debates are held under the "British Parliamentary" model, with the opportunity to practice these contents. The meeting ends after a careful and objective evaluation of the debate.
