We are a small, friendly, family-run childcare nursery for babies and children aged 0-5. We are registered with SCSWIS (the Care Inspectorate) to provide childcare and early education, delivering the Pre-Birth to 3 Curriculum and the Curriculum for Excellence for children aged 3-5. We aim to: • Provide a warm and stable, caring, stimulating and challenging environment with opportunity for exploration and discovery to enable children to be active learners. • Engage children in active learning which challenges their thinking, using real-life and imaginary situations. It takes full advantage of the opportunities for learning presented by: o spontaneous play o planned, purposeful play o investigating and exploring o events and life experiences o focussed learning and teaching.
