It started as a simple idea: What if on a whim you can rent anything you need, just for the moment, whether it's for an outdoor activity, partying with friends, or to do a chore. Founded in June of 2017 and based out of Toronto, Canada, we're bringing our passion and many years of experience in tech to help make a positive impact in the world with our app, doohickey.Doohickey is an app that allow users to post and rent out their unused items to make easy money. As their items generate revenue, they can easily track their items at any time or place. They can also affordably and conveniently rent other items from our community. Doohickey enables an easy way for people to make money, save money and the earth at the same time! With our technology we want to empower people, by providing access to goods and services, creating more income opportunities, and helping to reduce the world's carbon footprint.Our goal is to lead the world in leveraging cutting edge technology which will empower all people globally, when it comes to providing access to goods and services, creating more job and income opportunities, and helping to reduce the world's carbon footprint. As former kids, college students, and small business operators we found that we faced all these issues first hand. We now hope with Doohickey, we have come up with a solution that addresses all these issues.
