Performing Arts - Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Dooley's Players dedicates itself to the production of pertinent theater that challenges the mind and stimulates thinking as well as learning. Dooley's Players explores the essence of humanity through the art of theater. Our work promotes student involvement in the pursuit of theatrical experimentation. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for students to write, produce and develop their own theatrical works using different media materials. Most importantly, Dooley's Players aims to learn, teach, and share. The mission of at least one of the Dooley's Players productions per academic year must be to spark discussion on diversity on the Emory campus and in the greater Atlanta community. Any and all aspects of diversity can be the subject of this production, and will be explored in an effort to provide the community with reflection on current issues concerning diversity. Dooley's Players grew out of the merger between Starving Artists Productions and AHANA Theater.
