We use actual vintage patterns from the '30s, '40s and '50s and retrofit them with fresh new textiles and a fit more suited to today's freer lifestyles. We have raised or lowered hemlines, reshaped bustlines, shortened waists and opened up necklines so that the clothes fit a modern woman's more variable, athletic and less artificially shaped body. These clothes still retain a distinct vintage flavor, but without the mustiness.
