SACRED SELF-CARE FOR THE SOULWe created Dora's Apothecary to inspire self-love, self-care, and self-healing.Our products are inspired by the traditions of Curanderismo and my grandmothers, who were shamans, healers, and medicine women. Curan roughly translates to "heal," and it all starts from within. Self-care is essential because it encourages us to love ourselves. And once we truly love and accept ourselves, this paves the way to love and accept others. Our core values are: LOVE YOURSELF FIRST: Because we believe healing and beauty are intertwined. So we place a piece of tumbled rose quartz in each of our products to encourage self-love.HONOR THE EARTH: The Earth provides us with everything we need to heal ourselves. And to honor the Earth, we made it our duty to give more care and consideration toward our environmental impact. We use minimal packaging of only recycled and recyclable materials. GIVING BACK: We donate a portion of each purchase to Spirit Awakening, an arts-based nonprofit dedicated to helping underserved youth and children in the juvenile justice system realize their value and self-worth.
