DOT Acoustics is a consultancy located near Paris, FRANCE, dedicated to architectural acoustic design, noise control engineering and acoustic research. Our research involves the development of acoustic criteria for classroom acoustics, the development of hardware and software for acoustic measurements and models, the development of new materials and assemblies for sound control, the development of a methodology for laboratory measurements of reflectivity with the applied metric and research in speech intelligibility in the learning environment. Our current studies include:- The development of software tools that provide solutions for enhanced speech intelligibility ;- Research toward a new acoustic criteria for classrooms ;- The development of a new acoustic measurement system for classrooms ;- The development of new building products from recycled materials that enhance absorption and reflection in rooms ;- Testing a new metric for speech intelligibility in learning spaces ;- Collaboration on the development of a laboratory measurement system for sound reflectivity ;
