From 670 million to 2.3 billion people worldwide suffer from low vision due to uncorrected refractive error. In resource-limited settings, the high cost of determining prescriptions make regular glasses challenging to distribute. To solve this problem, we are developing glasses using pinhole lenses, which can be produced inexpensively and do no have to be customized for particular patients.Dotacle Technologies was co-founded by three Harvard undergraduate students.
