I am a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia, Canada, and I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, which incorporates several modalities including acupuncture, acupressure, herbals, Chinese massage (tui na), e-stim (like TENS), moxabustion therapy, cupping and more. I have recently invested in a low level laser therapy (LLLT) system in order to provide needle-less acupuncture and physio-laser for chronic and acute pain. The RJ Laser system can ideally be used with elder, junior and clients who are needle sensitive. My main focus is relief of acute and chronic pain. However, acupuncture, whether by fine needles or laser, can treat and relieve many ailments and disorders, both physical and emotional. It is widely recommended for relief of headaches, high blood pressure, digestive complaints, anxiety and depression, gynecological complaints, sleep disorders and certainly aches and pains of all types.I also offer during pregnancy and pre-birth acupuncture, the latter useful in preparing for a more focused and efficient labour and birthing experience.Acupuncture can also help clients to quit smoking and/or control weight.
