Dourogás GNV represents the business area of the Dourogás Group in the area of sustainable mobility and constitutes as one of the pillars of innovation and modernity in terms of the Group's corporate offering.\ \Nowadays, Natural Gas Vehicular is an economically viable, environmentally responsible and technologically mature alternative to traditional fuels derived from petroleum, allowing companies to reduce direct costs in the fuel bill that can ascend up to 40% compared to the traditional Market price.\ \From the environmental point of view, there is a growing concern today to mitigate the environmental impact of the transport sector, which is responsible for a very substantial part of the emissions of environmental liabilities that generate greenhouse effects. NGV contributes actively to the reduction of the carbon dioxide footprint of transport, as it allows the elimination of about 20% of CO2 emissions, also substantially reducing particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx).\ \At present, the Dourogás Group manages and operates a supply network for Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which supplies a large number of fleets of Iberian-scale transport companies with buses dedicated to public passenger transport and Special vehicles for the collection and treatment of municipal solid waste.\ \This network is located in the following geographical areas:\Carregado / Alenquer (LNG and CNG), Picoto / Gaia (LNG and CNG), Elvas / Caia (LNG and CNG), Santo António dos Cavaleiros ) And Urjais / Mirandela (CNG).\Dourogás GNV also explores the commercialization of natural gas to supply the bus fleets of the STCP (Porto) and Carris (Lisbon).
