Since 2007 we have specialised in creating valuable partnerships between key NHS stakeholders and the pharmaceutical industry, ultimately to improve outcomes for patients. With a background in both the NHS and the pharmaceutical industry, our Dovetail Healthcare Events team, focuses on the facilitation of unbiased, educational meetings and events for GPs, Practice Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals, at no cost to the NHS. At Dovetail, we understand that CCG's were formed to support NHS England for the purpose of improving the quality of care delivered to the Patient. Many CCG's realise that education plays a fundamental role in delivering this process. During the Primary Care Trust (PCT's) period, financial resources were ring fenced specifically for the ongoing education of medical frontline personnel, such as Doctors, Nurses and Care staff. Unfortunately, under the new guidelines and changes imposed on the NHS, this financial resource has been significantly reduced and in some cases lost, both at local and national level and there is a hiatus in training and education across the Primary Care staff as a whole.
