In 1988, the Downtown Tacoma Business Improvement Area (BIA) was created to keep downtown safe and clean. As the city has grown, we have grown as well into the Downtown Tacoma Partnership. Today, we continue to maintain expansive safe and clean services, while also providing community beautification, transportation services, and retail support and recruitment.
