Downunder Kayaks SUPs & Surf Shop is a water sports business in CT with two on-water locations on safe rivers leading out to Long Island Sound, local islands, estuaries and wild life sanctuaries. It's the only full service business of it's kind in the region, offering paddle board and kayak retail, rental, classes, tours, camp, corporate and parties, in addition to a all the merchandise you'd expect in an upscale surf shop, yet reasonably priced. Programs are offered at our location or offsite. Clients are as young as 3 years (in a double kayak with an adult), through seniors (80+), complete novices through serious racers. In New Zealand (or Aus) the attitude is ‘no worries, she'll be right mate, give it a go'. Downunder is all about empowering people, helping them be successful, and to have a great time. We have found that most people love the water and want to get out on it. It's a feel good activity and motivating. It changes your attitude. It's a healthy and fun workout. And it doesn't break the bank (unlike a trip to New Zealand!)
