Like many start-ups, our origin story is born from dissatisfaction with the products that we were using. We found ourselves asking far too many questions about the technology or design choices we were seeing in fantasy sports products. We spent years diving into the industry and having a good, hard look at Dynasty. Market research, competitive analysis, user research, you name it. We wanted to learn as much as we could to try and understand why an industry with 60 million users seemed so far behind in the adoption of technology and user experience design.Our journey uncovered many problems, ones we suspected and new ones to consider. In the end, we concluded that fantasy had become far too complicated and time consuming. This led us down the path to build a better product, one that leveraged modern technology and design to elevate the game and would set a core principle that would be the foundation to our entire platform: standardization.
