Doyle's Commercial Body Building specialise in the construction of lightweight bodies for light commercial vehicles (LCV's). We were established in 2012 in direct response to a request to design and build a lightweight, low carbon vehicle for a major client of our sister company Doyle's Auto Refinishing.Our flagship body is the ‘Aduro' which is based on 3.5 tonne platform cab vehicles. The platform cab is an ideal vehicle to work with for delivering a higher payload compared to a traditional high floor chassis cab; without compromising space. By utilising the low loading height of these cabs, we negate the need for a tail lift thus increasing the payload and providing a safer working height for operators all in a 20m3 capacity body.The Aduro delivers a sleek, aerodynamic look and payloads of up to 1400kg. Operators are also enjoying better running costs with the Aduro body allowing them to carry more per job, while seeing a decrease in fuel consumption. We use very robust and lightweight, recyclable polypropylene panels and flooring with a honeycomb inner core resulting in a 300-450kg payload advantage when compared to traditional heavy timber sided Luton van.Further developments in our range:Magnus: 26m3 body based on the same manufacturer platform cabs delivering up to 1300kg payload.Cubus: Traditional Luton body vehicle based on standard manufacturer chassis cabs delivering payloads up to 1300kg compared to 850-900kg on timber sided bodies.Aduro XL: Our 5 tonne body based on a back to back cab with an AL-KO chassis delivering 30m3 capacity and a 2200kg payload.Other builds include 18 tonne traffic management vehicles that enable a safe working platform for highway maintenance personnel, traditional high floor Luton bodies, drop side, tippers and curtain side bodies as well as other bespoke builds.
