Architecture Firm/Engineering Firm - Fernway, PA, US
DPL Engineering has extensive experience in design and analysis with a concentration in simulation through FEA. Additionally, we offer services in design for manufacturing, 3-D CAD, and creating design specifications. Our area of focus is design and analysis of components using the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel (B&PV) and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) codes for structural and thermal concerns. Previous analyses include pressure vessels, heat exchangers, in-line piping components, and skid packages. Examples of these projects are:• Design and analysis of various ASME B&PV Code Section VIII Division 1 vessels using design by rules and design by analysis methodologies• Thermal stress and fatigue analysis of shell and tube heat exchangers (ASME, TEMA)• Thermal and structural analyses of tanks and vessels to the ASME B&PV Code Section VIII Division 2 • Design and analysis of skid packages for natural gas drilling using AISC and ASCE codes• Design and analysis of a wire wound vessel using ASME B&PV Code Section VIII Division 3• Qualification of a support assembly for a circuit breaker using traditional hand calculations and response spectrum analysis for seismic loading (IEEE STD 693)• Dynamic structural analyses of tanks used for shipment by trucks for vibration and fatigue concerns (49 CFR 178.274 and ASME B&PV Code Section VIII Division 2)• Other analyses included evaluations for ASCE 7-16 and ASME BTH-1DPL Engineering's lead engineer is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) n Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, and Kansas.
