Dr. Bashi™ is a unique brand of sustainably-made and gender/race conscious educational materials, with a focus on Persian (Farsi, Dari, Tajik) and Arabic.Since August 2014, Dr. Bashi™ has been offering free Persian Bilingual Storytime every Saturday at 2:30 PM for children & their families in New York's iconic independent bookstore "Book Culture on Broadway." In November 2014, Dr. Bashi™ launched the "Distinguished Persian Guest Storytellers' Series," inviting prominent Persian-speakers to read their favorite children's stories (in Persian) during Saturday storytime.Dr. Bashi™ has become recognized as the first makers of children's educational Persian alphabet wood blocks, made ethically in the United States--and in 2014 we launched our comprehensive educational Arabic alphabet wood blocks for children, made with the same love and care as we did our Persian. We are in the process of offering our premium educational wood blocks in many other languages, including Urdu and Kurdish soon.Built on a foundation of love for progressive education, sustainable living, creative and visual arts, we at Dr. Bashi™ thrive on our commitment to making learning a fun, beautiful and enduring experience.
