We believe in improving accessibility for mental healthcare in the UK Dr Julian is an innovative mental healthcare platform that aims to increase accessibility of mental healthcare and wellbeing in the UK. We connect you to healthcare professionals and counsellors by secure video/ audio link from your iPhone/ iPad/ iPod touch using a calendar appointment booking system. Our platform lets you book appointments with a variety of therapists. Dr Julian, our founder, is a medical doctor who has spent time on the front line of mental healthcare in the UK working in secondary psychiatric units, in A and E and in GP surgeries. He along with our director of psychotherapy Philippa Weitz have personally recruited, interviewed, checked the credentials and monitor the performance of a selection of highly qualified and experienced therapists.Our therapists pricing starts at £45 per hour appointment. However those therapists with an advanced level of training, qualifications and specialisms charge higher rates. The price of each appointment with a therapist is shown next to the therapist when searching the calendar. Sessions are based on a minimum 50-minute consultation time and 10 minutes of administration and note writing time.This platform allows you to personally select a therapist based on their profile and at a time that suits you. There is no need to travel to your appointment as you can be in the comfort of your own home/ location. We also offer a free diagnosis feature where you are able to undertake depression and anxiety questionnaires' that can be used to assess your level of anxiety and depression. These are standardized questionnaires' that are used by both GPs and psychiatrists.
