Dr. Tasneem Nakhoda - Senior DermatologistDr. Tasneem Nakhoda is a Board Certified Dermatologist involved in a private practice in Karachi, Pakistan. She has over 20 years' experience with training in Pakistan and the USA. She is renowned for her expertise in lasers, making her a leader in the field of aesthetic dermatology. She has served as a consultant/speaker for many laser and cosmeceutical companies and has published papers in various journals.She is a Dow graduate of 1987 and completed her MCPS in 1992. The same year she passed commission and joined Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center where she trained MCPS students in dermatology, read papers and gave her FCPS part 1. She left the department to join Prof. Faiz in the plastic surgery department to complete her thesis in skin cancer. Her interest in pediatrics led her to join Dr. Amy Paller, an authority in dermatology and the President of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology based in Chicago. She also worked with Dr. Montalvo, a Senior Cosmetic Dermatosurgeon at the Northwestern University.On her return from USA in 1999, she opened her own state of the art laser clinic named 'Lasersoft-the Skin Clinic' with both medical and aesthetic lasers. It is her constant pursuit of knowledge and hunger for innovative techniques, that has allowed her to introduce PRP and Fractional Radiofrequency in Pakistan.She also has the honour of delivering the first lecture on botox at PAD forum in 2004.
