Dr Rozeena Musa is a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist based at Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane. Dr Musa delivers a high standard of care that pregnant women and their families expect. She aims to provide a positive birthing experience tailored to the patient's birth plan. Her easygoing and approachable nature makes patients feel immediately at ease. Being a female Gynaecologist, Dr Musa is sympathetic to the needs of women, and she makes it easier for patients to communicate their concerns.Dr Musa attained her primary medical qualification (MBChB) at Otago Medical School, New Zealand in 1996. She commenced her Obstetrics & Gynaecology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, completing her fellowship at Auckland Hospital in New Zealand. As a senior registrar she undertook additional training in high risk obstetrics and advanced laparoscopic surgery.Having received her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG), Dr Musa worked as a Consultant at Auckland hospital and later as a Staff Specialist at the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane.She feels privileged to be part of the 9 month journey with her obstetrics patients and cherishes the wonderful relationship that is formed. It is delightful to see them back for their subsequent pregnancies.Dr Musa continues to pursue professional development opportunities and presents to General and Emergency practitioners. She has been appointed Senior Lecturer at University of Queensland and participates on the board of examiners.Outside of her busy work schedule Rozeena enjoys traveling , relaxing at the movies and spending time with her family.Her most recent hospital appointment is a full time staff specialist at the Mater Mothers Hospital.
