For more than 30 years, Dracaenakwekerij "De Plaats" B.V. has been the go-to company for Dracaena fragrans deremensis and compacta. On our company, consisting of 14.000 square metre Dracaena are cultivated and propagated on a commercial basis for growers and exporters, sold under the name DRAGONTREE ®. Annually, we produce more than 1.500.000 Dracaena to be sold in the potsizes 9 and 12 cm and as young plants. There are 14 varieties of DRAGONTREE® Dracaena plants to choose from.Internationally recognised as Dracaena specialists, we focus on breeding new varieties under the name DRAGON SELECTIONS®. With a worldwide network of licensed growers and agents in in Central America, the Philippines and Australia, the beauty of the DRAGONTREE ® Dracaena is spread, cultivated and sold all around the world.Since 2015, we have started to sell foliage from our Dracaena intended for floral designers, artists, projects and also as eye-catching components in bouquets.We work with a small team who care for 1,500,000 cuttings and 400,000 mother plants. Our greenhouses are heated geothermally and our crop protection is solely executed by using green resources. These are the reasons why we have been rewarded the highest MPS certification: MPS-A+. On top of that, we hold the MPS-GAP and MPS-SQ certificates reflecting our social and environmental efforts. Additionally, our Dracaena are cultivated Bee-friendly.
