Every week we provide new: Experienced-based activities in: Language Arts, Math, Science, Art Tips for Health and Wellness A weekly adventure Resources for extra support or further inquiry A forum for advice, suggestions, and keeping up with the latest trends in education We strive to provide fun, educational activities that any parent or guardian can do, without special equipment or expensive supplies. All of our lessons are aligned with the third grade benchmarks across the content disciplines. Parents however, can modify lessons to fit the needs and academic levels of their children in grades pre K-5. All of these activities have a modification for simplifying the lesson and an extension to make the lesson more challenging. Our lessons are loosely aligned with the Common Core Standards for reading, writing and math because we believe that it is important to establish an age-appropriate academic skill-set. However, we balance this belief by equally emphasizing the importance of cultivating the imagination and instilling a love for learning first and foremost. We relate our learning activities to the real-world by crafting our lessons around the seasons and the holidays that take place throughout the year and keep in mind the theories of multiple intelligences and differentiated learning styles so that we are able to meet your child's learning needs.
