Dream Catcher Stables is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to our Mission: "To provide a place in perpetuity where people with disabilities can be successful, equal, and capable, growing to their maximum potential through interaction with horses in a positive environment."We accomplish our mission by providing educational, recreational, and sport programming - including vocational and pre-vocational opportunities - to youth at risk and youth and adults with disabilities. Individuals are accepted without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background. Our funding comes from foundations, corporations, and individuals just like you.Located in North Houston, Texas, we are a small nonprofit group, nicknamed the "incubator" for the influence our work has had on our clients and volunteers alike. Many leave our cozy yet inspirational "nest" to become the best version of themselves, including medical professionals, entrepreneurs, social workers, and more. Often, they come back to us with their own families, as once again they join the horses and their humans as we find the joy in helping still others in living life without labels. We welcome new athletes and new volunteers who are interested in helping us grow our community impact. Come to learn, come to ride, come to grow.
