The Dream Center of Alton connects returning citizens, both adult and juveniles, to needed supportive services and reduces barriers that prevent successful reintegration. All the core components are designed to provide transitioning individuals with the life skills, job readiness, employment, a support system and a stable life. Services provided:Identification assistance(ssc, id, birth certificate), clothing assistance, celebrate recovery, employment, job referrals, food pantry referrals, mental health care referrals, transportation assistance, mentorship and fresh start kits. We partner with over 40 different local and state organizations, including Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice and IDOC. Working together to offer these individuals opportunities to better themselves and to become productive members of society....opportunities they would otherwise never receive.
