DrilaAfrica was founded with a defiant spirit and a lofty objective: to offer startup founders a one-stop-shop solution in their venture building at a revolutionary price while leading the way for tech solution businesses in Africa. Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: the cost of building a business is too expensive, from countless search for business solutions to the aches and frustrations of not knowing what will work. Often times, some of these frustrations do not only threaten the mere existence of a business but also lead to serious liabilities. We were students when one of us conceived an idea of building a digital detox solution for overly engrossed social media crowd. The lack of readily available platforms where you can readily access affordable startup training, adequate business resources tailored to meet your startup needs and accessible business leaders and coaches in your field of industry was not only a tussle but a heartache. To my greatest amazement, few years after I left school, when I had to resign my first job to build my first startup, the story was nothing different. Where were the options? It turns out there was a simple explanation. Venture building industry is dominated by a single company that has been able to keep prices artificially high with niche-based solutions rather than a one-stop-shop experience that fully furnish the would-be and active startup entrepreneur. We started DrilaAfrica to build this solution.
