Imagine a continent where we drive forward together as a people in combating inequality by crowdfunding skills, innovative technologies, resources, tools and education for the needy across African local communities to build their own livelihood. We empower people across African local communities to ensure their voices heard in the political processes.At DFI, we have a strong conviction that by crowdfunding skills and expertise as skilled volunteers positive impacts can be made towards bridging inequality gap across African local communities. We believe that development should be bottom-up. We disagree with the view and activities of some charity actors or stakeholders that food should be given to poor working population in vulnerable local communities instead of initiating programs/training or set up platforms through which they can get empowered and self-reliant. The greatminds behind DFI are humans like you, but the difference might be their perception of social, political and economic realities, efforts towards learning more and passion towards using their skilled manpower, resources and work experiences in making great impacts across African local communities.At DFI, we welcome every development and democratic oriented individual who believe in our core principle of people empowering people and political advocacy for purposeful political leadership and community engagement into our fellowship as volunteer and partner. We are not politicians nor do we represent the interest of any political party anywhere in Africa, yet a nonprofit social enterprise cum social movement of determined entrepreneurs, influencers and change-makers. We focus on the local communities in the continent and work towards promoting their development through integration of innovative technology in education, entrepreneurial and market-focused vocational skills development, partnership, Social and Financial Education Programs(SFEPs), strategic political leadership, mentorship and advocacy
