The DAA are a not for profit governing and sanctioning body for Drumlines in Australia. We also provide networking, professional development and performance opportunities for our members. It is the number one goal of the DAA to help grow and develop marching percussion in Australia through several key areas of focus: - Facilitate greater awareness of other Drumlines around the country and create a sense of community, - Create a central hub through which members can access advice and resources from experts including music and rehearsal advice, - Begin to develop standards and guidelines in consultation with our members regarding all aspects of Drumlines and education, - Enhance learning opportunities and offer professional development for both students and teachers, - Provide greater performance opportunities and cross promotion for performances amongst the Drumline community, - Work with manufacturers and suppliers to help make marching percussion instruments and accessories more accessible to the Australian market If you feel that you have the requisite skills to assist in any of these areas, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us here.
