Dråpen i Havet / A Drop in the Ocean is a Norwegian NGO. Our purpose is to help refugees in Europe, especially mothers and children. Our goal is to make an effort to help those who need it the most; transporting necessary equipment and hands-on help to the refugees being stuck in Greece. We are present in refugee-camps were we are contributing with distribution of food and non-food-items, managing activities, running community centers, teaching i.e. We are also operating on the island of Lesbos, spotting for boats, running projects and contributing in distribution and warehouse work. Since March 2018, we have been present with a small team in Paris, distributing food and necessities to migrants living on the streets. \Since September 2015 Dråpen i Havet has had 5000 volunteer aid workers in Greece. Several volunteers are also contributing in the administration in Norway.
