Born in 1992, Seoul, South Korea, Derek is a self-taught photographer. He started to learn photography when he moved to Canada in 2005. After his high school graduation in Canada, he decided to take a gap year to travel around the world. During his gap year, he traveled over 17 different countries where he captured many different sceneries of the world. The world traveling photos can be found at UMTHEMUNDO. Derek is currently studying architecture in Syracuse, New York.
