The Digital Signal Processing group operates at the University ofUdine since 2001. Our main research interests are mostly (but not exclusively) in the field of Digital Signal Processing. More specifically, we worked on* Lossy compression* Robust compression for transmission over unreliable channels * Model-based compression * Distributed coding* Compressive sampling* Processing of biological signals* Wavelets and filter banksMoreover, we work also non-strictly-DSP subjects such as peer-to-peer multimedia streaming and physical unclonable functions. Our research activity produced several patents and scientific contributions in important journal and conferences. We are open for collaborations of any type. If you have a problem that require some good DSP know-how, just drop us a note.
