Hospitality - Los Angeles, California, United States
Founded in 2006, Dtox makes up 6,200 square-feet of unparalleled zen. Mock worked around the space's exposed brick masonry walls, 20-foot high vaulted ceilings, wood beams concrete floors to create the ultimate spa experience. Aiming to incorporate elements of water, earth, fire air; the environment has a feel of Asian minimalism mixed with Indonesian flare, Bamboo paneling adorns the walls and sink tops, not just for their warm feel, but also their eco-friendly renewable reputation while low VOC paint was used to calm the senses. Lit candles in every treatment room help create a relaxing glow and in the center atrium, where a giant Buddha shares space with a 15-foot double waterfall welcomes guests to relax on chaise lounges, bathed in sunlight from skylights above and enjoy fresh fruit, brownies, organic teas & fruit-infused water.
