Dunya Mirak Investments(DMI), subsidiary of Khazir Group, was established in the year 2013 and is registered in Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq. The company was formed in partnership with industry leaders like Mir Hashem Khoory LLC(MHK), Dabin Group and Duty Free. The goal of the company is to provide innovative solutions in the fields of Logistics, Warehouses, Greenhouses, Agricultural Distribution Centers, Nursery Farms, Industrial Plants, Wholesale & Retail and Produce Processing & Packing. Desert Rose " The Green City " is the flagship project of Dunya Mirak Investments, formed in partnership with DP World, Dubai. Desert Rose is an innovative development of dry port and container terminal which has been designed to support and drive the development of the industrial infrastructure in Kurdistan. The Desert Rose site comprises of 100 hectares in a highly strategic location in Duhok, a rapidly growing city (c.300,000 population). The project is connected with an arterial motorway connecting the Turkish border via Erbil and Bagdad to Basrah; 50km from the Turkish border, 60km from the Syrian border and 175km from the Iranian border.
