Dustland is an entertainment company founded in 2019 by Austin Nichols and Hunter Huddleston. The idea first began in their dorm room at Indiana University. When discussing what sort of business they should create, it became clear with a simple word and a common characteristic: story.In life, it can be easy to get caught up in all the distractions. They asked, "What should our distractions be?" It sounds silly, and maybe it is, but a great story has the power to provide an escape, and isn't that the point? From then on, they decided to dedicate the rest of their lives to making every distraction count. You can laugh. You can scream. You can sing. You can cry. But most importantly, you can learn.You know that moment when you're in a theater, with mostly complete strangers, and a feeling begins to spread throughout the space? In total silence, with only the voice of the screen, you experience a commonality that only the cinema can bring. When you're home, you might be viewing something that you've seen at least 17 times. Why? It ‘s because stories remind us of the feelings that we forgot we even had.The objective of Dustland is to provide a friendly reminder of those feelings for as many people as possible. The stories they create are solely crafted to bring to the screen everything they have ever wanted to see, but most importantly, the stories that never get told.You're not entering their world. You're entering your world. Even if it's only for a couple of hours, those "couple hours," make all the others worth it.
