More recently we have registered out interest with the Urban Growth unit of the NSW Government in participating in a Migration Museum that could possibly be established in the now renovated North Parramatta - Heritage Core are. The solid group of buildings there could present a great variety of opportunities to small business, educational and recreational groups. In 2016, some politicians visited us to talk about the idea of a Migration Museum in Parramatta. We talked about how it could work and what it could look like. Recently, we told the NSW Government that we're interested in being part of a Migration Museum that might be built in a group of old buildings in North Parramatta. These buildings have been fixed up and could be used by small businesses, schools, and community groups. The buildings have a special feature on the outside called pulleys, which are like big wheels that help move things up and down.
