Do You See Theatre (Dystheatre) was founded in 2008 by Michael Ferstenfeld, Jeff Britt, and Lindsay McKenna to bring new light to the works of established modern playwrights, to bring public life to the works of up and coming local playwrights, and to facilitate the integration and collaboration of otherwise disparate script-loving, improv-loving, and movie-loving creative groups. Since 2008, the company has put on six notable productions pulling together artists from these disparate groups and continues to work to strengthen the bonds between.We're currently in rehearsals for the world premiere of the 2007 Wasserstein Prize winning play "This Feather House," written by Austin/Japan local Linda Ramsey. Opening night is September 7th, 2012 at Casa de Luz-- hope to see you there!
