The e-Governance Academy (eGA) is a think tank and consultancy organisation founded in 2002 for creation and transfer of knowledge and best practice concerning e-governance, e-democracy, national cyber security and the development of open information societies. \\eGA trains and advises leaders and stakeholders in using information and communications technology (ICT) to increase government efficiency and to improve democratic processes. Additionally, in cooperation with IT-companies eGA assists in the implementation of e-government technical solutions.\\eGA has trained more than 3000 officials and has been involved in e-government policy planning and implementation, organisational setup, legal and technical frameworks and management with 60 countries. \\eGA's strong competences are based on the international experience of its experts who have remarkable hands on experience and a long track record in the public sector's ICT development. \\To help increase cyber security of states eGA developed National Cyber Security Index to measure countries level of cyber security and preparedness to prevent cyber treats and manage cyber incidents and crises. \\To share e-governance best practice around the world eGA organises annually Tallinn e-Governance Conference where leading e-Governance experts, decision-makers, donors and civil society groups meet to discuss e-governance in the EU, in Eastern Partnership countries and worldwide. \\Turnover of the eGA was 4,4 M € in year 2016.
