In 2017, two longtime friends and their families made their dream of providing a healthy, low-sugar alternative to sugary sodas and artificially-sweetened drinks a reality by forming the East Coast Kombucha Company. Based in the coastal town of South Nowalk, CT in a historic factory building, we are an artisan-brewer and wholesaler of great tasting, raw, probiotic-packed, organic Kombucha tea. This fermented tea contains antioxidants, vitamins, enzymes, beneficial bacteria (for good gut health and digestion), nutrients and organic acids which rebalance the body's PH level and boost the immune system. We take pride in brewing our kombucha the traditional way by fermenting in small batches using only the finest ingredients (locally sourced whenever possible) and never pasteurizing or adding anything artificial to ensure that our customers receive the freshest, most beneficial and delicious kombucha available.Our kombucha (which makes a great mixer when combined with alcohol) is packaged and distributed in bottles and kegs with a portion of proceeds helping local charities and causes. We invite guests to visit our unique, state of the art brewery to see and learn more about the kombucha brewing process, enjoy a tasting of incredible kombucha flavors, fill up their recyclable growler bottles or just stop by to say hello and relax.
