The organization is funded by the local business community and local Government to help improve the economic viability of our region into the future.East Gippsland Marketing's primary goals are to:- Raise the profile of the East Gippsland region as a desirable destination to visit, live, work and invest.- Increase local awareness of the region and its attributes to encourage residents and stakeholders to act as ambassadors for the region.All of our activities work toward achieving these important goals, with the ultimate goal being to improve our local economy and quality of life for all residents.Our regional marketing campaigns are focused on stimulating investment and regional growth, helping to increase consumption of locally produced goods and services. This economic growth provides a labour force for local business and consumers for products and services.It also provides a viable market for new business investment in specialist industries, helps plug supply chain gaps, and provides a greater range of services and support that can be accessed locally.An increase in our population will improve the potential to source important infrastructure upgrades such as road and rail networks, as well as improvements to healthcare, education and other important community services.
