East London Sport is the sports service provider at the University of East London. We currently offer competitive sporting opportunities across 16 different sports for over 500 students and High Performance Support for 155 elite athletes including ex and current professionals, Olympic and Paralympic athletes. East London Sport also offers a comprehensive participation programme (Move East London) for staff and students to get involved in free sport and physical activity sessions. Our Employability and Professional Development team oversees our student placement opportunities, providing sports industry-relevant experiences to University of East London students. In 2018/19 we delivered on over 20,000 volunteering hours in the community contributing £206,000 to the London economy. We are located in our state-of-the-art, £21 million facility; SportsDock.
