East of England Veterinary Specialists is an independent veterinary referral practice established by orthopaedic specialists Martin Owen and Mark Bush. We are one of only a few referral practices that can promise 100% of cases will be operated on by a Recognised Specialist. We offer the highest level of veterinary orthopaedic expertise. We charge all routine cases on a fixed price basis. This means we can clearly explain the costs of any procedures, giving pet owners the peace of mind to focus on their much-loved pet getting better, not the worry of rising bills. East of England Veterinary Specialists is one of the few independent specialist veterinary practices in the UK, locally owned and run by veterinary surgeons. Because we are independent, we are not driven to meet sales targets and growth forecasts. We can keep our fees and costs lower than those of the large corporate hospitals by concentrating on what we do best, orthopaedic surgery. We have taken over a purpose-built hospital in the beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside, close to the National Trust's Wimpole Estate. We have converted the hospital for veterinary use and have two spacious operating theatres in addition to comfortable accommodation for cats and dogs, reception and waiting areas, offices and a seminar room. Both Mark and Martin have been providing CPD nationally and internationally for many years. We offer free CPD evenings for vets and nurses, on a range of orthopaedic topics.
