Eastern Neuropsychology regularly completes neuropsychological assessments and reports for medico-legal/forensic purposes. These include assessment of cognitive impairment due to acquired brain injury (ABI) – including substance related brain injury – Intellectual Disability, psychiatric illness or any other medical condition that may impact a person's cognitive function. Assessments may assist in determining the link between cognitive impairment and an individuals offending behaviour. Specific recommendations are also provided to assist working with client's with brain injury and resultant cognitive impairment. Eastern Neuropsychology also has experience working with Indigenous Australians together with clients of non-English speaking background.
