Dr. Easton received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Central Florida and his Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) from the University of Houston College of Optometry. In addition, Dr. Easton did his internship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. As an Optometric Physician and South Florida native, Dr. Easton has been actively serving his profession and his community since he started his professional practice in 1986 as Past President of the Broward County Optometric Association,,Past President of the Florida Optometric Association, Past Chairman of the Florida Board of Optometry, Past President of the Association of Regulatory Boards in Optometry, Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, Past President of the Rotary Club of Downtown Fort Lauderdale and a Member of the Commerce Club.Dr. Easton provides primary eye care including comprehensive eye exams, specialty contact lens designs, treatment for dry eye, allergic eyes, eye infections, and glaucoma. In addition, he provides pre and post-operative care for LASIK and Cataract patients as well as emergency after hour services. Dr Easton's office also carries a wide selection of the latest fashion frames. Regardless of your visual condition, Dr. Easton can design a contact lens for you. Dr. Easton specializes in the "hard to fit" cases. He uses the latest corneal topography technology for measuring the corneal shape. During the contact lens evaluation, Dr. Easton will determine what design will work best for you: Astigmatic Soft or Toric Gas Permeable Lenses, Spherical Soft or Gas Permeable lenses for Myopia and Hyperopia, Specialty Gas Permeable lenses for Keratoconus, "Xchrome" Gas Permeable lenses for red/green color deficiency, Post-Cataract and Post-Refractive Surgery contact lenses, Bifocal, Multifocal and Mono-Vision Soft or Gas Permeable Lenses, and Colored Enhancing Soft contact lenses are all available.
