EasyMining develops state of the art recycling processes for recovering elements from waste and turning them in to commercial grade products. The main focus of the current technologies is to recover P, Fe, Al, Cl and REE's from different kinds of municipal and industrial waste. The company is owned by Ragn-Sells and technologies are the result of 20 years of development. Multiple commercial full-scale plants are currently being planned that will facilitate the conversion of our society to a circular economy. The current main technologies are: Ash2Phos®A patented process that recover clean phosphorus products from sewage sludge ash. It has the capability to extract >90% of the phosphorus with nearly cadmium free MAP/DCP and produce Fe and Al precipitation chemicals. It offer several benefits such as an economical feasible mass balance and a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to mined phosphate production that enables a circular economy. Full scale factories are currently being planned in both Sweden and Germany. CleanMAP®The process offers the possibility to separate phosphate from water through ion sorption instead of energy demanding evaporation. It is a patented process that renders entire phosphorus plant sections to be unnecessary in MAP production. By using this process, both the operational cost and energy consumption and drastically be reduced while at the same time remove impurities such as Cd, U, F, etc. Ash2Salt®It enables the extraction of fly ash chlorides and conversion into commercial NaCl, KCl and CaCl2. The patented process removes the risk of chlorides from fly-ash being leached into the nature, while at the same time reduces the need for mined salts. The residue from the process is considered less hazardous which drastically reduce the management cost for landfills. A full-scale plant is currently being planned at Ragn-Sells site Högbytorp, Sweden.
