Eberhardt Signs, one of the UK's leading sign companies, has a history spanning over 100 years. At the turn of the century Mr Eberhardt's grandfather was in London making individual light bulbs and Geissler tubes which were the forerunner to neon lighting. In 1897, for an exhibition commemorating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee he assisted with a display of Geissler tubes.
