E-Bike GP is a fast and furious, criterium-style race held in the heart of global cities, underpinned by a globally collaborative sustainable and transformative mobility agenda. It represents a world-first for cycle sport and delivers an exhilarating close-racing competition in city centres, broadcast to a global audience.This is more than an event. This is a 3-year strategy for sustainable mobility transformation. As part of the EBK GP family, international host cities, competing teams, individual athletes, partners and stakeholders become leaders of change. Not only helping to promote greener, cleaner cities, and fostering health and wellness, but also energising individual sustainable mobility all around the world, positively contributing to a reduction in global CO2 emissions. Focusing on innovation and technology, custom-built E-Bikes have been developed using Formula One engineering to provide ultra-competitive, futuristic high-speed racing machines. They rely on a mix of battery power and human endeavour to create a new sporting spectacle, enhanced by livestream data on the bikes' technical performance and the biological performance of the rider. Working with the Women's Sports Alliance, parity of gender is uniquely crucial to the EBK GP blueprint with teams consisting of both males and females.The E-Bike GP is cycle sport reimagined, using innovation to ensure positive change.
