Our goal is to end the current Ebola epidemic and prevent future outbreaks. We'll do this by training Ebola survivors to be first-responders in new Ebola cases in Sierra Leone. Not only does this minimize the risk of infection, but field operatives can provide immeasurable empathy because they've experienced the illness themselves.
