Visual art, photography, critical essays, interviews, and reviews are also a vital part of echolocation.Since 2003, Echolocation has published some of Canada's newest literary talent alongside some of Canada's most celebrated literary names. Past contributors have included: derek beaulieu, Linda Besner, George Elliott Clarke, Jesse Patrick Ferguson, Spencer Gordon, Katia Grubisic, Helen Guri, Steven Heighton, Ray Hsu, Heather Jessup, Sean Johnston, Mat Laporte, Pasha Malla, rob mclennan, George Murray, Steve McOrmand, Jeff Parker, Rebecca Rosenblum, Anne Simpson, Suzannah Showler, Paul Vermeersch, Samantha Warwick, and Lindsay Zier-Vogel. While our pages host both literary upstarts and literary greats, our primary aim is to promote new and emerging writers.
