ECHT is an artist collective that aims to create an environment where artists and audience are equal parts of a shared experience. In the distracted age of social media, in a country deeply divided, in an increasingly solitary world, we provide resources and opportunities to artists in an effort to cultivate an open and supportive space for all those willing to breathe, open, listen and enjoy.ECHT's Mission is to be a resource for visual and performing artists, a proponent of courageous authenticity, and a champion for the power of human connection. We nurture cross-disciplinary collaboration among individuals, communities and organizations engaged in the arts. ECHT events offer a platform for artists to explore their craft and break through creative boundaries while giving the public access to inclusive artistic experiences. We foster discussion and connection through the production of performances, exhibitions, workshops and community-building programs. These events aim to cultivate, develop, and inspire artists in Brooklyn and beyond, and promote innovation in the arts.
